Release your grasp

If only letting go was this easy then maybe you would be content with life as it should be; rather than always holding onto things that aren’t meant to be permanent in your life. Death comes to all things, living and non-living. But that doesn’t mean that it is gone. It just means that it lives on in another form. So if you have a balloon, you can hold onto it but for so long because you will either let it go….or hold onto it so long that although its presence exists, it will no longer have life. So wouldn’t you rather let go of things while they still have life and while you can still appreciate the beauty of having provided you with at least a few moments of joy?
